WALBERSWICK OPEN STUDIOS
Walberswick has harboured an artists’ colony ever since the end of the 19th Century and is still attracting artists to Walberswick's unique open landscape, seascape and big skies. During one weekend, the public are welcome to walk around the open studios enjoying a variety of art in various media, with the added bonus of being able to chat with the artist and this popular event attracts a large number of enthusiastic art lovers annually. The 2022 Walberswick Open Studio Trail started at an exhibition in The Anchor Barn, where free trail maps were available. There will be posters, arrows and flags to help you navigate round the nine locations and enjoy works that range from oil paintings to painted sticks to digital knitting, all displayed in sheds, summerhouses and working studios from both established and emerging artists.
