ALMOND, Lisa
Lisa Ann Almond, daughter of Alan Almond and his wife Jackie Almond. Lisa grew up in London and spent a large amount of time in France and in Suffolk where she had freedom to explore. Each of her works is an attempt to convey the essence of the artist’s experience while exploring her relationship with the canvas. She works on several paintings at a time adding thin layers of acrylic paint, the paintings constantly changing until completion. Lisa then found inspiration by years of living in the mountains of North America and by the coast in Cornwall and is now settled in Norfolk. A member of Walberswick Open Studios and has exhibited at Winter Park Gallery, Colorado USA; The Gallery Holt, Norfolk; Art Fair East; Undercroft Gallery, Norwich; Norfolk Open Studios and elsewhere.
