ADRIAN HILL FINE ART
Picturecraft Gallery at Lees Yard, Bull Street, Holt, Norfolk was established in July 1972 and is now one of East Anglia’s leading art venues and is the longest running gallery in Holt. This award-winning gallery has undergone several changes and continues to evolve under the ownership and management of Adrian Hill and his wife Clare Joanne née Arnup (1976-). The Gallery has a unique display system that continues to provide a regular programme of themed, multi-artist exhibitions interspersed with major solo shows. This enables the Gallery to provide an exciting, inspirational, and stimulating programme of exhibitions, including subject matter-based and medium-based themes, with the aim of providing something for all tastes. Alongside The Gallery is Adrian Hill Fine Art, which opened in July 2013. This gallery operates as a stand-alone gallery and displays some of the finest paintings selected from the Royal Academy, Royal Institutes, Federations and Societies. The light and airy space is perfectly suited to exhibit original paintings and works of art. Adrian Hill is proud to be representing many contemporary artists all of whom are members of the Federation of British Artists at the Mall Galleries including Rosa Sepple (1951-), Peter Wileman (1946-), Brian Ryder (1944-) and Robert E Wells (1956-) who provide a constantly changing exhibition of new works. Managing Director, Adrian Bernard Hill (February 1979-), has been in the art industry for over two decades, has written numerous art publications for Halsgrove Publishing and co-wrote ‘Then and Now’ (2019) by Anthony J Lester, a history of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and 'A Journey Like No Other' for Rosa Sepple (2021). Suffolk artists who have exhibited with the Picturecraft and Adrian Hill Fine Art Galleries include Kevin Hugh Curtis and John Douglas Hosea. Adrian Hill Fine Art, Stamford was the second gallery to be opened in the ‘Adrian Hill Fine Art’ portfolio in August 2020.
