CURTIS, Kevin Hugh
Kevin Hugh Curtis, was born in the Hartismere district of Suffolk in 1958, son of Hume Redvers Curtis (1927-2004) and his wife Christine Eleanor née Walker (1930-1993). Kevin began painting at the age of 18, and about 1998 became a professional artist. Kevin always had a love of the East Anglian landscape which is often reflected in the changing seasons and light within his paintings. A landscape artist in oil and acrylic working from The Bush, Banyards Green, Laxfield, Woodbridge, Suffolk and exhibited at Picturecraft Gallery, Lees Yard, Holt, Norfolk. He married in 1981, Carole R. Clarke and had a daughter and two sons. In 1990 he was living at Willow Cottage, Owls Green, Dennington, Suffolk and he died on 18 January 2009, aged 50. He may have also been known as 'Ken Curtis'.
