BELL GALLERY
The Bell Gallery at 40 Earsham Street, Bungay, Suffolk which opened in 2022 was owned by artist Jackie Bell and operated as a rented space from which artists could sell their artwork. All other services were provided, and manning of the gallery was shared between the exhibitors on a rota basis. They also hosted some gallery exhibitions through the year which were run on a more traditional commission basis. The space available ranged from a single booth, of which there were eight, to the whole gallery, which were suitable for a group of artists to curate their own exhibition who has included the Harleston and Waveney Art Trail and The Suffolk Group of Artists. Exhibitions were held on a four-week basis. Suffolk artists who have exhibited at the Bell Gallery include Anna Badar, Clare Bailey, Patrick Will Baker, Hilary Bartholomew, Christopher Beagley, Rosalind Bieber, Mark Copeland, Jill Draper, Ruth Finn, Julie Graham, Jazz Green, Tony Hatt, Tony Lodge, Caroline Mackintosh, James Maberly; James Mayhew; Becky Munting; Mark Purllant and Ruth Simpson. On the retirement of Jackie Bell the Bell Gallery closed in November 2025.
