Jackie Bell was educated at Bungay High School in Suffolk and studied at the University of East Anglia and in 2020 Jackie decided to take up painting. Using the internet and access to online courses, she enjoyed trying different media to paint with and exploring a diverse range of subject matter. Portrait painting is her favourite using oil paints or pastels. Pose and lighting are the elements she concentrates on to reflect something about the sitter and their personality. Jackie is the owner of and exhibits with the Bell Gallery, Bungay.
