Jackie Bell was educated at Bungay High School in Suffolk and studied at the University of East Anglia and in 2020 Jackie decided to take up painting. Using the internet and access to online courses, she enjoyed trying different media to paint with and exploring a diverse range of subject matter. The current themes of her paintings are drawn from her passion for wildlife, often juxtaposed within a still life setting. Working from her studio painting in oils her style is realistic, placing animals and birds amongst fruit and vegetables, or incorporating vintage pieces. Jackie is the owner of and exhibits with the Bell Gallery, Bungay also exhibiting at Fusion Art Fair in Harrogate and elsewhere.
