BAILEY, Clare
Clare Bailey, studied at Ipswich School of Art in 1979 to be followed by Brighton School of Art, initially she studied wood engraving before moving onto scraperboard, which she found faster and more immediate. Clare worked for many years as a Fine Art Decorator and Historical Reconstructor, moving back to Suffolk in 2010. Her paintings and etchings reflect her predominant interests in nature. Clare is a member of the Suffolk Group of Artists and has exhibited at the Royal West of England Academy; Farnham Maltings, Bridge Square, Farnham; Allen Gallery, Alton; Haslemere Museum; Emsworth Gallery, Queens Street, and Craftco, Southwold.
