Hilary Bartholomew was born on 25 July 1953, daughter of Benjamin Bartholomew and his wife Eileen née Tebbutt. Hilary is a sister to Helen Bartholomew. Hilary Bartholomew exhibited at The Royal Academy in 2019 from her studio at 27 Cranley Hill, Eye, Suffolk also exhibits at Buckenham Galleries, Southwold; Figurative Art Now, Mall Galleries, London; The Red Dot Gallery, Holt, Norfolk; Artspace, Woodbridge and elsewhere.
