Becky Munting

Rebecca Munting, grew up in East Anglia and has a love for its native flora and fauna. Becky studied at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge 1995-1998 and graduated B.A. (hons) in History of Art. A wildlife artist working in oil paints and coloured pencils, being inspired by local animals and birds and although she represents the animals in a naturalistic way, she sometimes likes to add quirky twists and humour. Becky also produces 'cut-outs' which are hand drawn, hand cut from ply wood, or board and painted with oil paint, of animals and birds. She was gallery manager at Buckenham Gallery in Southwold 2004-2014 and Festival Manager at Alde Valley Spring Festival from 2015. She exhibits her work locally including at Buckenham Gallery and Aldeburgh Gallery and also works on commissions. Her work is in private collections both nationally and internationally. A member of the Suffolk Open Studios from her studio at Lyndhurst, Bruisyard Road, Cransford, Framlingham, Suffolk
