ROYAL ACADEMY SCHOOLS EAST ANGLIA GROUP
Royal Academy Schools East Anglia Group are artists who graduated from the RA Schools at various times since the 1950s and who now live and work in East Anglia. The group was formed in 2011 and has exhibited across the region and continues to welcome new members. Previous exhibitions have been held at the Halesworth Gallery; Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh; RE + New Woodbridge; The Old Fire Engine House Gallery, Ely; Mandell’s Gallery, Norwich and Wingfield Barns, Eye. In celebration of the Royal Academy Schools 250th anniversary the group published 'Legacy' designed by graduate Jelena Lukić, the book is a collection of memories and images by graduates who consider how their training has impacted on their development as artists. Many of the paintings included were shown at their group show at the Minories, Colchester.
