Anna Toppin

As Anna J. Glynn, she married at London in 1986, Michael G. Toppin and works under the name of Anna Toppin. Anna studied at Wimbledon School of Art, gaining a Diploma in Fine Art and at Goldsmiths College, London University for a Certificate in Education. She worked for many years as a Set Designer for the BBC and London Weekend TV on programmes which included ‘Dempsey and Makepeace’, 'The Charmer' and 'Poirot. She has also published a novel ‘The Silver Kitten Party’ and has worked for Screen East. After bringing up her daughters she returned to painting and etching approaching her work with a designer's eye with decoration, her main aim specifically designed to be viewed as decoration. A member of the Print Makers council and her work has been shown at The Affordable Art Fairs in Singapore, Chicago, Brussels, Milan and London and Bicha Gallery, Gabriel's Wharf, London. Her work is on view at her studio at Watering Pond, 165a, Saxmundham Road, Aldeburgh, Suffolk, or in Hampstead, North London.
