LOWESTOFT ARTS CENTRE
Lowestoft Arts Centre which opened in the year 2000, is a non-profit making volunteer community initiative formed to promote the arts in the Lowestoft area. Run by volunteers, the Lowestoft Arts Centre provides an art & crafts gallery & studio for teaching. Their premises are at 13 St Peter's St, Lowestoft. Membership is just £10 per year and entitles members to have a say in the running of the Centre, take part in Centre activities and use its facilities. Amongst other things it entitles members to exhibit up to three works of art in the gallery. Suffolk artists who have exhibited at the Lowestoft Arts Centre include Malcolm Cudmore, Anthony Giltrow, Rebeccah Giltrow, Carole Kemp, Marie Limb, Cynthia Monteret, Suzi Pye, Brigitte Quennehen, Carolyn Reeder, Ellie Sedgwick and Madge Williams.
