WYATT, Mary

Mary Wyatt is a ceramic artist working at Felixstowe, Suffolk. Mary and her husband Stephen Nicholas Wyatt are former promoters of Felixstowe Art on The Prom annual exhibitions. Mary's pieces explore shape and balance, and her sculptures are hand-built and capture human figures, seascapes and animals suspended in movement. Mary is currently experimenting with raku glaze firing. A member of the Ipswich Art Club she exhibits at Fire and Flux Ceramics, Norwich; Reallyverynice Gallery, Bury St Edmund's; the Ferini Art Gallery, Pakefield, Lowestoft. She has also exhibited in Suffolk at Halesworth Gallery; Suffolk Craft Society; Ipswich Town Hall Gallery; Ipswich Art Gallery; Snape Maltings Galleries; Bentwaters Park, Rendlesham; Peter Piers Gallery, Aldeburgh; Felixstowe Art on the Prom also at Emmanuel College, Cambridge; Undercroft Gallery, Market Place, Norwich and elsewhere.
