Holywells Creatives was founded in 2015 and combined art students at University Campus Suffolk UCS with other talented artists in Ipswich, a collective of artists with a diverse range of talents which was named after their first exhibition venue, Holywells Park, Ipswich. The members were in equal partnership each sharing responsibilities in organising and promoting their work and bringing it to the public. They were all visual creatives and exhibited regularly in various Suffolk locations. The first members were Michelle Bowden, Julie Dodds, Carlos Fernandes, Peta-Jane Hillier, Kathryn Raffell, Adam Riches, Jane Stocks, Tricia Cottrell, Rabat El Shaiitt, Mark Mann, a visual artist photographer, Christ Mapey, a photographer, Tom Owens, a photographer, Sarah Jane Tappenden, Lauren Jade Thurston, Anne Welsh, Rachel Williams, a photographer and Alex Woodcock. The Holywells Creatives art collective exhibited at Arlingtons Ipswich, Ipswich in 2016 and they had a Summer Exhibition in September 2019.
