ARLINGTONS IPSWICH
Arlingtons at 13 Museum Street, Ipswich, a restuarant that plan and host a range of events throughout the year. Originally the Ipswich Museum which was opened in 1847 but since the move of the Museum to High Street, Ipswich in 1881 has had several different occupants. After the Second World War it was used as a ballroom and a school of dancing originally by Olga Wilmott and her family and held dancing exhibitions and competitions, but after a full restoration completed in 2009 has been a restaurant and events venue including being used for art exhibitions. Suffolk artists who showed at exhibitions at the Arlingtons Ipswich include the artists of Holywells Creatives, Michelle Bowden, Kathryn Raffell and Shannon Norton.
