DENSHAM, Karen
Karen Densham was born in 1970 and studied ceramics at Wolverhampton Polytechnict and at the Royal College of Art, London for her Master's degree, and lives and works in Ipswich. An artist whose practice spans ceramics, works on paper, photography, and video. She has been featured in solo and group exhibitions including the V&A, Serpentine Gallery, Whitworth Art Gallery, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Richard Saltoun, and the Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art (Japan) and locally with Art Station; The Cut Halesworth; Asylum Studios; Jerwood and Jugg Art Foundation and at Minories, Colchester. Her work is included in public and private collections Jerwoodin the United Kingdom and around the world. Karen is the founder and co- director of the Jugg Art Foundation.
