Sandy Horsley studied at Norwich University of the Arts for a B.A. in Illustration and at the Cambridge School of Art for a master's in Children's Book Illustration. Sandy is an illustrator, printmaker and ceramicist based in Suffolk and drawing, printmaking, illustration, picture books, ceramics and artist's books all feature in Sally's practice and in her illustration work she combines traditional printmaking and drawing with digital processes. In her commission for Suffolk Libraries she was drawing on location over the course of a year, capturing everyday ‘unseen moments’. Sandy exhibited the International Mini Print Exhibition in 2017 at Wingfield Barns, Suffolk and exhibits nationally and internationally including with the Royal Watercolour Society at the Bankside Gallery, London and in Bologna, Italy. Sandy was on the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize Shortlist in 2023 and the Bologna Book Fair Indie Jacket Award Winner in 2024. Sandy exhibits her works at Yoxford, Suffolk.
