ELDER, Patrick

1953 - ?

Patrick W Elder was born at Little Hadham, Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire in March 1953. In 1977 he studied furniture design and cabinet making at the London College of Furniture, however, he was drawn to sculpture and diversified into the art form for which he felt a natural affinity. A sculptor who moved to Suffolk in 1988 and is a member of Waveney & Blyth Arts. Patrick has exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy also showing at Quaker Gallery, London; Carthouse Gallery, Isle of Mull; Harrison Gallery, Montreal, Canada and locally at Pond Gallery, Snape Maltings; Hunter Gallery, Long Melford; Buckenham Galleries, Southwold; Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh; Halesworth Gallery, Suffolk and elsewhere. His work is in collections throughout the UK, Europe, Australia, the USA and Switzerland.
