Waveney & Blyth Arts was launched by Jan Dungey in November 2010. In 2017 over 80 creative individuals and members of arts organizations are members. Waveney & Blyth Arts reflects and promotes the rich cultural identity of north Suffolk and south Norfolk through the arts. They support the work of artists, musicians, writers, and makers in the area, as well as partnering with other arts organisations. Their mission is to build connections between people, the arts, and places by creating art and engaging our communities. They initiate and support events, exhibitions, projects, and workshops, and collaborate with organisations and artists to bring the arts to a wide audience. They work across the towns and surrounding areas of Diss, Harleston, Bungay, Beccles, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth along the river Waveney, and the areas around Halesworth and Southwold in the Blyth valley.
