ALDEBURGH ART GROUP
Aldeburgh Art Group was an informal group of artists who met weekly to concentrate on painting, drawing, and developing their skills. Any medium but with no teachers but had meetings at the Baptist Chapel in Aldeburgh High Street every Tuesday with annual exhibitions in Aldeburgh every June. This group was disbanded owing to the Covid restrictions and the death of the organiser Michael Philpot. Its last mixed exhibition was held in the Summer 2019.
