Sandy Horsley studied at Norwich University of the Arts for a B.A. in Illustration and at the Cambridge School of Art for a master's in Children's Book Illustration. Sandy is an illustrator, printmaker and ceramicist based in Suffolk and drawing, printmaking, illustration, picture books, ceramics and artist's books all feature in Sally's practice and in her illustration work she combines traditional printmaking and drawing with digital processes. In her commission for Suffolk Libraries she was drawing on location over the course of a year, capturing everyday ‘unseen moments’. Sandy exhibited at the International Mini Print Exhibition in 2017 at Wingfield Barns, Suffolk and exhibits nationally and internationally including with the Royal Watercolour Society at the Bankside Gallery, London and in Bologna, Italy also locally at the Southwold Art Circle; Aldeburgh Gallery; Bell Gallery, Bungay; Norwich Castle Museums and Art Galleries; The Art House, Castle Street, Worcester and elsewhere. Sandy was on the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize Shortlist in 2023 and the Bologna Book Fair Indie Jacket Award Winner in 2024.
