HALL, Angela Jean

1969 - ?

Angela Jean Hall grew up in London. Working from sketches, her work focuses on light and shapes, pathways appear and takes her through trees, rocks and hills, using photographs to remind her of colours and some of her works expresses her concern for the devastation of climate change and she has incorporated her life drawings into larger land works. She uses oil and cold wax to produce many thin layers of paint that are removed to expose colours beneath creating depth and richness of colour. She has exhibited at the Halesworth Gallery,Clare Country Park, Snape Maltings Galleries, Bank Arts Centre and with the Eye Arts Guild and Southwold Art Circle and is a member of Suffolk Open Studios from Bulls Hall, Bulls Hall Road, Occold, Eye, Suffolk.
