Fairhurst Gallery

The Fairhurst Gallery at 17 Bedford Street, Norwich was first established by artist, restorer, and dealer Joe Fairhurst on Norwich’s Elm Hill in 1949, the Fairhurst Gallery quickly adopted its reputation for working with renowned artists, such as Edward Seago and Alfred Munnings. Joining him was his son, Tiz who in 1976 first developed the workshop where the Fairhurst team still provide bespoke framing, art restoration and conservation services to the utmost quality. The Fairhurst Gallery highlights a vibrant variety of exhibitions, aiming to promote and develop new professional artists and their careers as well as assisting well established practitioners reach new and wider audiences. Suffolk artists who have exhibited with the Fairhurst Gallery include Max Clements, Gus Farnes, Ann-Marie James and Brüer Tidman.
