JOHN MARTIN GALLERY
The John Martin Gallery at First Floor, 38 Albemarle Street, London was opened in 1992 and has represented the work of contemporary and modern British artists as well as artist estates for over many years. The gallery has participated in numerous art fairs in Europe and the US and has collaborated on exhibitions with public institutions including Leeds Art Gallery, Penlee House, Middlesbrough Art Gallery, Fruitmarket Gallery and the V&A. The gallery uses Cromwell Place to present new artists, large-scale exhibitions and use the Member spaces for meetings and administration. John Martin was co-founder and fair director of Art Dubai (2007-2009), launching the Global Art Forum and Abraaj Art Prize. He has been a Trustee of the Shubbak Festival and the Artists’ Collecting Society and was a founder board member of Mayfair Art Weekend. Martin has also founded Cromwell Place, a new location for international and UK-based galleries, curators and art institutions.

John Martin also promotes Spirit Studios, in Suffolk, an art gallery and event space that hosts a diverse array of exhibitions throughout the year. Displaying works from both emerging and established artists, it offers a platform for artistic expression and community engagement. In addition to its regular exhibitions, Spirit Studios is available for private use, providing a unique and inspiring venue for events and celebrations.
