MANDY, Bella Ann

1977 - ?

Bella Ann Mandry was born in Suffolk in 1977, growing up on the Shotley peninsula near Ipswich and living some of her adult life in Melton near Woodbridge, Suffolk. Bella studied painting and drawing with the West London School of Art. Colour is at the heart of all of Bella's work using a combination of print, collage, pen, chalk, and acrylic paint and, having also lived in mainland Europe, Africa and Asia, the vibrancy of many of these locations has a strong influence on her painting. Her subject matter is connected to landscapes both in Suffolk and further afield and her work is loose in style and hopes to celebrate the energy of the natural world. She has exhibited in Suffolk at the Swan House Gallery in Beccles; Juniper Barn at Rendham; Freston Boot, Ipswich; Woolverstone Hall, Ipswich and elsewhere.
