Clare Art Club was founded around 1990 by its then President, Irene Corless. A long-standing club with a diverse membership of local artists. The Club holds monthly meetings, currently at The Bell Hotel in Clare. Each month, a visiting professional artist demonstrates a particular style or medium to teach and inspire artists. These monthly demonstrations, which are free to members, are open to visitors for a small fee. The club holds an annual Arts and Crafts Exhibition in the Clare Town Hall, where members are invited to exhibit their latest works.
