Hazel J. Bradshaw, was born at Sudbury, Suffolk in 1962, daughter of Charles William Bradshaw (1923-1979), and his wife Mary E. née Keeble, who married at Sudbury in 1959. Hazel trained in Illustration and Graphics at Ipswich Art School 19791983 and on leaving worked as a jewellery-maker, whilst studying for a City & Guilds in Enamelling, Chasing and Repossue at the Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design in London. She has also been employed as a paste-up artist, producing artwork for a screen-printing company and a full-time musician. Suffolk artist and tutor, Hazel Bradshaw creates a diverse range of art using paint, felt, fabric, pastel and other media being inspired by nature and her surroundings and from the patterns and textures around her. In 2011, she founded Brook Farm Studio at Bildeston, Suffolk which is an inspirational space dedicated to helping people find and develop their creativity. She has regular art exhibitions also runs regular classes in Figurative Drawing, Felt Jewellery Making, Creative embroidery with Trudie Kram, Clay Buttons, Beads & Brooches, and with potter Emma Robertson, a Children's craft club. Hazel is also a full member of Suffolk Open Studios and has exhibited at The Farmers Club, Bury St Edmund's; Sudbury Arts Venue, The Quay; Artworks Blackthorpe Barn; Felixstowe Art on the Prom and elsewhere. and
