BOARDMAN, Colin Breck
Colin Breck Boardman was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 8 March 1969. Educated at Stowe School 1982–1987 and studied Fine Art at Reading University 1989–1993 gaining a BA (hons), Fine Art; the University of Brighton 1995-1996 for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Art & Design this was followed 2006–2008 for a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Animal Science. After attending a studio in London he started painting in 1988 which led to a painting trip to France. He specialised in painting and drawing from life and his falconry inspired oil paintings and in 1995 he was working from his studio in a converted barn at Finningham, Suffolk and as Colin Breck, together with sculptor James Maberly and artist Sula Rubens exhibited at the Halesworth Gallery. Colin Breck Boardman BA, PGCE, a qualified teacher, artist and poet, studied falconry at The National Bird of Prey Centre in 2002 and, after eight years of practising falconry independently in the Sussex countryside, in 2009 set up Breck Falconry.
