WALTON AND BOVILL ART GALLERY

Walton and Bovill Fine Art at 63 Hall Street, Long Melford, Sudbury, Suffolk which opened in August 2014 was managed by Stephen Walton and Giles Bovill (February 1965-). This may have been a successor to the Stephen Walton Gallery in Bury St Edmund's. Walton and Bovill Fine Art sold work by professional artists with an emphasis on the 20th and 21st centuries with occasional pieces from the 19th century. They had a wide selection of artists including Josef Albers (19 March 1888–25 March 1976); Lillias August; Banksy (1973-); Simon Carter (1961-); Patrick George; Paul Darley (1958-); Mary Feddon (14 August 1915-22 June 2012); Stéphane Graff (1965-) and Mary Webb amongst others. Their inaugural 'Hidden Treasures' exhibition was the celebration of the painter and printmaker Daphne Reynolds. The last note of this gallery was on 29 July 2016.
