Stephen Walton prior to 1997 had a career in arts management working with a number of leading production companies and venues and in 1997 founded Stephen Walton Fine Art to promote a range of talented emerging artists and mount exhibitions in Bury St Edmunds, Burnham Market and Cambridge. The Stephen Walton Gallery, Hatter Street, Bury St Edmunds was owned by Stephen Walton closed in 2010 when Walton went to the Edmund Gallery. Stephen Walton was an art dealer at Felsham Road, Bury St Edmund’s IP30 0AQ. Suffolk artists who exhibited at the Stephen Walton Gallery include Bill Pryde.
