Elizabeth P (Liz) Goulding graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Art and Design Education and continued working in the arts as a practicing artist and tutor. Liz taught 'A' level Art and design and life drawing in Nottinghamshire for some thirty years then spending a year in painting in Puglia in Southern Italy. Returning to the U.K. she ran workshops and classes at the Secret Garden Café and Studios in Newark-on-Trent for three years, teaching expressive painting to small groups. She then moved to the Suffolk coast as a full-time artist. Liz paints colourful oil paintings celebrating the beauty of the world around being influenced by the landscapes but not as a pictorial representation. Liz has exhibited at Gallery 6, Stodman Street, Newark on Trent; The Old Lock Up Gallery, 19 The Hill, Cromford, Matlock and in Suffolk at Bell Gallery, Bungay, Pond Gallery at Snape Maltings Galleries and with Easterly Artists and elsewhere. A member of Suffolk Open Studios from Kessingland, Lowestoft, Suffolk.
