He was studied at Lowestoft on a foundation course 1974-1975 and at Canterbury College of Art 1975-1978 for his B.A. (hons) Fine Art, Cyprus College of Art 1978-1979 for his master's and after several years pursuing his career Peter returned to painting full-time in 2007. It was his series of works that he called ‘Buildings’, a re-examination of the legacy of Twentieth Century Modernism in architecture, which has been the chief focus in his practice over these years and cemented his reputation and he studied at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts 2015-2017 for a master's Fine Art Printmaking. The North Sea Study paintings are about a journey Peter often makes several times a year returning to themes that make the most of his Suffolk connections. The Studies are a response to a walk that he frequently makes along the beach from his hometown Lowestoft to Southwold. He has exhibited his work across the east of England, throughout the UK, and in London at the [Royal Academy,6049]] from 2013 also exhibiting at Flowers Gallery; Discerning Eye; Whitechapel Art Gallery in London; Ferens Art Gallery, Hull; Royal-Overseas-League and in China, France, and Cyprus and elsewhere.
