COLLYER BRISTOW GALLERY
The Collyer Bristow Gallery is a former contemporary art gallery located inside the Collyer Bristow law firm at 4 Bedford Row, Holborn, London. They held the Gallery’s 25 year silver anniversary within law firm in Holborn in 2018 curated by artist Rosalind Davis, who was appointed the permanent curator of Collyer Bristow Gallery in 2016. Their first noted exhibition was 'India Today' in London in 2007 which included artists Bose Krishnamachari (1963-), Prabhakar Kolte (1946-), Anju Chaudhuri (1944-) and Debesh Goswami (1965-) although Collyer Bristow Gallery shows mostly artists from United Kingdom, they also exhibit artists from Italy, the United States and elsewhere. They held the Gallery’s 25 year silver anniversary within law firm in Holborn in 2018 curated by artist Rosalind Davis, who was appointed the permanent curator of Collyer Bristow Gallery in 2016. The last exhibition noted was at 4 Bedford Row, London, 'Me, Myself and I' in 2020 with artists Ken Kiff (29 May 1935-15 February 2001), Paul Benjamins (1950– November 2015), Margarita Gluzberg (1968-) and Nathan Eastwood (1972-). Suffolk artists who exhibited with the Collyer Bristow Gallery include Naomi Munuo, Timothy Shepard and Dooze Storey. This gallery is now permanently closed.
