YANNAGHAS, Dominica
As Octavia Dominica J Ravenshear, she was born at Ipswich in 1971. She married at Ipswich in 1998, Anthony Douglas Yannaghas and they later separated, she works under the name of Dominica Yannaghas and their daughter is Ophelia Yannaghas. Dominica studied the History of Art at 'A' Level and began experimenting with pastel she then took an oil painting diploma at the Norfolk School of Painting, graduating in 2021. A painter based in Suffolk, she paints flowers, dogs, landscape and occasionally people, on commission or for exhibition and has shown work across East Anglia with Suffolk Open Studios, Ipswich Art Society, Colchester Art Society and the Institute of East Anglian Artists and at their Annual Open in 2021, a portrait of her blue Whippet was 'commended'. She also exhibits through art galleries including with the Bircham Gallery, Holt, Norfolk, Pond Gallery at Snape Maltings Galleries, Clare Country Park, Grundisburgh House Gallery, Wyken Vinyards, Wyken House, Stanton, Bury Saint Edmunds and elsewhere. Dominica is also available for one-to-one oil-painting tuition at her Hadleigh studio.
