ANTEROS ARTS FOUNDATION
Anteros Arts Foundation is a year-round hub of engaging activities, at 11-15 Fye Bridge Street, Norwich at the intersection of Fye Bridge and Fishergate Streets, just down from Tombland. Two light-filled galleries host exhibitions from local and national artists and their Music Room displays the best in folk, jazz and classical performers with generous teaching spaces which cater for art lovers of all abilities and backgrounds through a wide variety of classes and workshops. Their shop displays ceramics, textiles, jewellery and prints from local artists and makers. And all set around an exquisite courtyard catered by The Merchant’s House café and bar. Anteros also directly support over twenty artists with affordable individual and shared studios, and hire several of their spaces for meetings, workshops, parties, photoshoots and more. A small staff relies on a dedicated team of volunteers to help welcome the public, run the activities, and maintain the buildings. Suffolk artists who have exhibited at Anteros include Ivor Butcher, also members of Echo Arts of Bury St Edmund's.
