BEYOND THE IMAGE GALLERY
Beyond the Image Gallery at Red House Yard, Gislingham Road, Thornham Magna, Eye on the Thornham Walks estate is an exhibition space in the heart of Suffolk which was established in 2005. The gallery is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of volunteer lens-based artists, who exhibit their own work through quarterly themed exhibitions. The gallery space allows the group to give something to the community in the form of three guest exhibition spaces suitable for showing artwork of all types. They do not limit themselves to photography, they exhibit work from guest artists working in any media. The gallery is run by a passionate group of Lens-Based Artists who curate captivating-themed exhibitions every three months and actively support the artistic community by providing exhibition space for guest photographers and artists working in various media. Suffolk artists who have exhibited at Beyond the Image Gallery include Lyn Berwick, Chris Edmondson, Eddie Prior, Jane V Southgate and Sharon Teague.
