Sarah Figlio studied at the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 for a B.A., followed by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1991 for a B.F.A., and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1999 for her Master of Fine Arts (MFA). A mixed media artist she has exhibited widely in the U.S.A., including Gallery 163, Chicago; Grand Street Gallery, Chicago; Rockford Art Museum, Illinois; Alder Gallery, Eugene, Oregon; Frankenstone Gallery, Chicago in 2014 also in Italy at Galleriea ISA, Monte Castello di Vibio and Societa Arte Storia, Palazzo Priori, Tarquinian in 1997 also at Karan Ruhlen Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2003. In the UK she has shown at Firstsite, Colchester, Essex in 2021, Royal West of England Academy, Bristol; Winchester School of Art; The Street Gallery at Bath Spa University, Bath and elsewhere. A member of Suffolk Open Studios from Vine Cottage, Kersey from where she has also exhibited at the Printroom Studio, Sweffling; the Pond Gallery at Snape Maltings Galleries and Gallery 142 at Felixstowe and works with Inspired By Benton End.
