CHAPMAN, Diana
Diana Rosalinde Chapman was born on 21 September 1951 and raised in the Stour Valley in Suffolk. Educated at Ipswich High School but lived most of her professional life at Hinckley near Leicester where she attended art courses at University of Leicester Attenborough Centre and Leicester Print Workshop. Diana returned to her home county and attended courses at Gainsborough's House Print Workshop, Sudbury and with John Michael at Wingfield Barns. Diana was a painter in oil and a print maker exploring the light and landscape of the region. She exhibited in Leicestershire and at Brett Gallery; Apex Gallery, Bury St Edmund's, and Wingfield Barns in Suffolk. She lived at Rowan Cottage, Long Thurlow Road, Great Ashfield, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk. Diana Rosalinde Chapman died on 12 January 2020.
