PEDDER-SMITH, Rachel
Rachel Tarn Pedder-Smith was born in November 1975. Rachel studied at Leeds Metropolitan University 1995-1998 gaining a B.A. (hons), Graphic Arts and Design and the Royal College of Art, London 1999-2001 for her master's and 2006-2011 for a PhD, Communication Art and Design (Natural History Illustration). A botanical illustrator and has had solo shows at Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London; Jonathan Cooper Gallery, Park Walk, London; Hortus Gallery, Chelsea, London and elsewhere. Rachel has had many mixed exhibitions including at The Other Art Fair, Victoria House, Southampton Row, London; ‘Watercolour’ Tate Britain, London; Jonathan Cooper, Park Walk Gallery, London; Royal Horticultural Society, London; Hunt Institute, USA; Forum Botanische Kunst, Germany and elsewhere. She has her studio at The Gardens, Eye Road, Hoxne, Eye, Suffolk.
