OLIVER, Jessica
Jessica Helen Oliver was born at Hadleigh, Suffolk in 1991. Jessica studied classical painting in Florence and at City and Guilds of London Art School for her degree in Fine Art Painting and at the University of Brighton 2017-2018 for her master's degree. Winning ‘One to Watch’ Federation of British Artists Futures 2015 at Mall Galleries, London, Jessica is an artist who works from landscape and natural environment in both paint and sculpture with a primary focus of the sea and ocean studies. Curator of charity exhibition series 'From the Studio Floor' and exhibits regularly in London and Suffolk and is represented by Byard Art, Cambridge. A travelling project ‘Odyssey’ inspired Jessica’s works, a twenty-month research trip to New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, and Canada from which she returned in May 2017. Jessica has exhibited at L'Accademia D'Arte, Florence, Italy; Suffolk College, Ipswich; Byard Art, Cambridge; Mall Galleries, London; Royal Geographical Society, Kensington Gore, London; From the Studio Floor, Hamilton, New Zealand; 128 Exhibition, at the University of Brighton; Artspace Woodbridge, Suffolk; Old Jet Arts Residency, Bentwaters; Anderson Contemporary, 6 Roach Road, Fish Island, London and elsewhere. In 2021 Jessica was based in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
