WILSON, Joy
As Joy Rosemary Ward, she was born at Worthing, Sussex in 1949, her mother's maiden name was Bell. Joy R. Ward, married in the Waveney district of Suffolk in 1987, Henry Livesey Hardwick Wilson (born June 1953) and paints under the name of Joy Wilson. A Suffolk abstract artist who enjoys walking the countryside taking in the landscapes, seascapes and nature, the shapes, colours, and movements feature in her work. Joy exhibited from 25 Gainsborough Drive, Halesworth, Suffolk at the 'Inspired by Becker' exhibition at Wenhaston Church, near Halesworth in 2014 and has also exhibited at Snape Maltings Galleries; Aldeburgh Gallery; Apex Gallery, Bury St Edmunds; The Cut Halesworth; Bank Arts Centre, Eye and is a Member of the Suffolk Open Studios. A contributor to the 'Westhall Secret Postcard Auction' in 2013, 'Coastline' and in the following year an oil, 'Sunset'.
