DRAYSON, Amy

Amelia Bernadette Drayson, was born at Chelmsford, Essex in 1969, daughter of Gilbert K. Drayson (born 1941) and his wife Janet A. née Bush (born 1941), who married at Brentwood, Essex in 1962. Amy is an artist of colourful paintings, linocuts and screen prints, mainly about houses and their account in their environment. After living in Colchester, Essex, about 2002 she came to Ipswich where she is a member of Suffolk Open Studios from 82 Hervey Street, Ipswich and has exhibited with the Freudian Sheep Artists. She is also a founder member of Ipswich Green Party and stood as a candidate in the local elections in the town.
