URQUHART, Douglas

Douglas N. Urquhart was born in Runcorn, Cheshire in 1930, son of Douglas Urquhart (24 May 1902-28 June 1963), a fitter's labourer, and his wife Ethel née Walker (17 October 1909-1984), who married at Runcorn in 1928 and in 1939 were living at 25 Kingsley Road, Runcorn. Young Douglas married at Watford, Hertfordshire in 1961, Patricia J. Blockley (born 1930). A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society Of Artists 1977-1990 and was also a member of the Lowestoft Art Group from 55 Somerleyton Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk and of the Oulton Broad Art Circle.
