TOWNSEND, Francesca
As Francesca Ann Burbury, she was born in Hertfordshire in 1955. After leaving school, Francesca studied at an art college and in the mid 1970s moved to Southwold, Suffolk where she married in 1977, Lenny Townsend and paints under the name of Francesca Townsend. An artist and committee member of the Southwold Art Circle from Hollytrees, Hall Road, Wenhaston, Halesworth, Suffolk. An elected candidate member of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists and a member of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists and has also exhibited at Wymondham, Norfolk and at Southwold and the Aldeburgh Gallery in Suffolk and has completed several commissions.
