COXON, Eileen
Eileen Margaret Coxon was born in Hampshire in 1946, in an area famed for its natural beauty and its naturalists and her early surroundings resulted in a lifelong love of the natural world. Formerly living at Tasburgh, Norfolk, Eileen studied at Norwich School of Art in Fine Art. Her work is a personal and subjective response to her experience of nature and is a slow and contemplative process which eventually makes its own demands and often results in a degree of abstraction. A member of Easterly Artists and has exhibited widely in Norfolk and Suffolk and occasionally in London and Wales including in Suffolk, Cork Brick Gallery, Bungay; Buckenham Galleries, Southwold Gallery and Snape Maltings Galleries and was a contributor to the 'Westhall Secret Postcard Auction' in 2013 'Wake-up Call'. She married in the Waveney district of Suffolk in 2003, Anthony M. Turner. A full member of Suffolk Open Studios with her studio at Holly Bush Farmhouse, Station Road, Brampton, Beccles, Suffolk.
