Ann Buonassisi began an art and design course at West Suffolk College in 1992 and went on to complete a B.A. (hons) Fine Art degree at Oxford Brookes University. Ann then worked as a Design and Technology Technician at a college and in her spare time turned to her musical interests and abilities and developed her skills working as a drum and guitar tutor and gaining experience as a jazz drummer. During the Covid pandemic she took up her drawing again, mainly animals, in pencil receiving several commissions for pet portraits. Keen to then use other mediums, including oil painting, which led her to Heath Rosselli and the Worlington Movement and she is now drawing and exploring the art of oil painting regularly.
