CAMBRIDGE SOCIETY OF PAINTERS AND SCULPTORS
Cambridge Society of Painters and Sculptors was founded in in the late 1940s by Nancy Mayhew Youngman (1906-1995), along with Betty Marion Rea (1904-1965), Elisabeth Vellacott (1905-2002), Cecil James Henry Collins (1908-1989) and his wife Elisabeth Ward Collins (1904-2000), John William Mills (1933–2023) and others formed the Cambridge Society of Painters and Sculptors. Other members have included John Bolam (1922-2009), Julia Ball (1930-2025), Richard Bray (1955-) and Christine Hutton Fox (1922-2012), Jasper Rose (1930-2020) and his wife Jean Rose (1933-). Exhibitions were held regularly at Kettle's Yard, the until the Cambridge Society of Painters and Sculptors ceased to function in the mid-1990's. Suffolk artist members included Robert Sadler. An exhibition catalogue for 1983 is held at the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge.
