Jacqueline Robins

Jacqueline Robins was educated at Ilford Ursuline High School and in the early 1970s studied textiles and needlecraft at Digby Stuart College, University of Roehampton, London and was deputy head teacher for Suffolk County Council 1980-2011. Jacqueline has been developing her printmaking for several years finding that printmaking offers limitless creativity and in 2017 she gained a Certificate in Fine Art Printmaking at the Curwen Print Study Centre under the tutelage of Stanley Jones (1933-2023). Her preferred printmaking processes are mono-printing, silkscreen, linocut, and photopolymer plate and experimenting with combinations of disciplines, creating hybrid type prints but her interests continue in textile design, sculpture and the works of a wide range of mid-century British artists. Jacqueline is Volunteer Program Coordinator at the Gainsborough's House Society in Sudbury and is a member of Sudbury Art Collective, 12pm Printmakers and Suffolk Open Studios from Meadow Lodge Studio, Garden Place , Cross Street, Sudbury.
