THEOBALD, Wendy

? - ?

Wendy Theobald studied art at Ipswich School of Art and art and design in West Yorkshire where she gained a BA (hons) degree. Wendy is a wildlife artist and illustrator living in Cockfield, Bury St Edmund's in the Suffolk countryside which provides her with a strong connection to its wildlife and the surrounding habitat. Observation is an important aspect of her work and using her sketchbooks and photographs she records nature as the seasons change. The form, colour, movement and patterns of the fauna, flora and landscape are the inspiration for her unique style. Working in watercolours, watercolour pencil or pastel, her artwork is also available as prints and cards from The Handmade Shop and Gallery, 77 St John's Street, in Bury St Edmund's and Brett Gallery in Brent Eleigh and elsewhere. She exhibited with the Suffolk Open Studios The Old Goods Shed at Clare Country Park.
