Juli Fejer

Juli Fejér began painting on her iPad in 2018 to distract herself from the chronic pain of fibromyalgia being encouraged to take her talent seriously by therapist at St George's Hospital in South London. Juli reconnected with a childhood love of painting and drawing and what had started as a pastime became her passion. Juli has had no formal training in art and worked in marketing and public affairs until 2002. Now a
Suffolk-based painter, Juli Fejér creates expressive landscapes that are at once familiar and strange. Her art practice includes acrylic on canvas, watercolour, with intense colour, use of verticals and unusual perspectives bring energy and immediacy to her work. Juli Fejér is a member of ArtCan and of the Visual Artists Association and an associate member of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists and has exhibited at the Royal Academy; ING Discerning Eye exhibition in the Mall Galleries; Stanton GuildHouse, Tewkesbury and locally at the Guildhall Studio, Bury St Edmund's; Art in East Anglia; Handa Gallery, Wells-next-the Sea, Norfolk; Babylon Gallery, Ely and in Paris and elsewhere.
